True Value recommences Thrill for the Grill in the South
MANILA, Philippines — True Value brought back the long-awaited Thrill for the Grill after four long years. The three-day event, which was held from June 16 to 18 at Town Plaza, Alabang Town Center, highlighted Weber Grills as the go-to griller, with the Weber Traveler and Weber Spirit II E-320 showcased in the said event. This was made possible with the collaboration of Weber Singapore, The Marketplace, HSBC, Sous Vide Station and Mikisa.
Attendees also enjoyed the following exciting promos announced during the duration of the event:

- 0% interest for 12 months
- Free Weber Grate Cleaner 16oz for a minimum single-receipt purchase of P10,000 using an HSBC card.
On the first day, Chef William Lum from Weber Singapore grilled a Tomahawk Steak and a Cedar Plank Salmon, which turned very tender and succulent. After the grilling session, he delivered a short presentation to the audience about Weber and its qualities.
The second day focused on Weber’s different grills for the shoppers to view and examine in case they want to purchase. Weber Specialists were also present at the event to answer the customers’ questions.
Finally, on the last day, True Value went all out and facilitated exhilarating activities. The first was a live grilling demo by Chef Michael Yap from Global Academy, where he grilled steaks, sausages and vegetables.
After grilling, the audience had a chance to taste the food so they could experience the Weber Way of grilling. In celebration of Father’s Day, a father and his son were invited to the stage to grill some more steak and experience the grills for themselves, as Chef Michael guided them.
To wrap up the successful event, True Value gave away a limited-edition red Weber Smokey Joe worth P12,999 in a raffle.
Aside from highlighting Weber Grills, Thrill for the Grill is also True Value’s way of supporting the grilling community and celebrating Father’s Day.
